Move-In & Move-Out Cleaning FAQs
Plan the cleaning around your move, property access and handover date. Review the checklist before booking.
Your cleaning checklist
What is included in move-in/out cleaning?
The checklist covers kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces: floors, baseboards, reachable dusting, sinks, showers, tubs, toilets, tile and grout. Cabinet, drawer and appliance interiors are included. Review the full checklist on the move-in/out page.
Are cabinets, drawers and appliance interiors included?
Yes. Move-in/out cleaning includes inside and outside of cabinets, drawers, the fridge, stove and microwave. Clear belongings from areas you want cleaned and tell us about any access or surface-care restrictions.
Does the home need to be empty?
Tell us whether the property will be empty or occupied and whether furniture or boxes will remain. Cleared areas make interiors and surfaces easier to access. Confirm the plan before booking; do not assume moving or removing belongings is included.
Does move-out cleaning include packing or junk removal?
The move-in/out cleaning checklist does not include packing, moving belongings or a property cleanout. Tell us if removal is also needed so it can be discussed as separate work.
Is this the same as deep cleaning?
Both include detailed kitchen, bathroom and living-space cleaning. Move-in/out includes cabinet and drawer interiors, while these are optional extras for deep cleaning. Bed-making, vacuuming inside furniture and living-room staging are outside the move-in/out scope.
Planning access and timing
Should I book before or after moving?
Share your moving and key-handover dates. Where possible, arrange cleaning when the areas to be cleaned are clear and you can provide access. We confirm availability before booking; a quote request does not reserve your date.
Do water and electricity need to be available?
Tell us before booking if water or electricity will be disconnected or limited. We need to review how that affects the selected tasks before confirming the visit.
Can you work while movers or contractors are there?
Tell us about overlapping work, people or deliveries before booking. Access to rooms and surfaces may be limited, which can affect what can be completed within the authorized labor time. Confirm the schedule and priorities with us.
Can you guarantee my deposit will be returned?
No. A landlord or property manager decides deposit deductions under their agreement with you. Cleaning does not repair damage, remove permanent staining or guarantee restoration to a new condition. Share any handover checklist before booking so the cleaning scope can be reviewed.
Pricing and booking
How do I get a price and book?
Use the move-in/out page to review rooms, extras, pricing and available dates, then book online. If you need help with your property’s scope, request a quote. Quote requests do not confirm appointments.
Is the 25% new-customer discount available?
New customers save 25% on move-in/out cleaning. Review the applicable discount and total before confirming.
What happens if more cleaning time is needed?
Booked time is total labor hours shared among the cleaners. Extra labor requires approval and uses your appointment’s hourly rate. If you decline or approval cannot be obtained, cleaners may stop at the authorized hours even if tasks remain.
What if I need to cancel or cannot provide access?
A $50 fee may apply when you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours before arrival. If cleaners arrive and the appointment is cancelled or they cannot access the property, the $130 fee replaces the $50 fee. Read the Booking Terms & Policies before confirming.
